Beauty Vitamins: The ABCs Of Skincare

Vitamins are crucial for the healthy functioning of our bodies, so it stands to reason that those vitamins would also deliver significant health benefits to our skin.

The skincare market is saturated with products promising all kinds of dermal miracles, but it can be hard to read through the jargon to find the ones that work. Rather than jargon, Elucent Skincare has enlisted research and science to deliver two vitamin-enriched skincare ranges that are packed with powerhouse ingredients to work with your skin’s natural processes and reduce the appearance of ageing.

Here are the ABCs – or the BCEs, as it were - of Elucent Skincare’s essential beauty vitamins.

B is for Brighter

Vitamin B3, also known as niacinamide, is a multitasking skin saviour, proven to help stabilise the epidermal barrier and, in turn, reduce water loss and retain moisture. It comes to the rescue for ageing skin, helping improve surface structure and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

Such is its influence, you will find Vitamin B3 across the entire Elucent Skincare range. The Elucent Anti Ageing range, specially formulated to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin elasticity, tone and pigmentation, combines the superpowers of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and B3 with other key ingredients. The addition of Pro-Vitamin B5 gives the Anti Ageing Serum extra oomph. The Even Tone range also harnesses B3’s mighty powers, combining with a selection of key antioxidants for a bright, more even skin tone.

C is for Clearer

Vitamin C is potent, but in the best possible way. A powerful antioxidant, it helps fight premature signs of ageing by reviving and stabilising collagen¹. Although collagen is a major component of our skin, its production decreases as we age, which can lead to fine lines and wrinkles, dehydration and uneven skin tone².

From the Anti Ageing range, get your Vitamin C fix from the hard-working Night Moisturiser, the gentle yet efficient Eye Cream, and the all-day Body Moisturiser. Across the Even Tone range, Vitamin C makes its appearance by way of embilica fruit extract, which works against harmful environmental stressors to help strengthen and brighten the skin.

E is for Effective

Vitamin E plays a vital role – for Elucent Skincare and in general – helping protect the skin against UV radiation and other harmful free radicals. It also boasts anti-inflammatory properties to help smooth damaged skin, and is beautifully moisturising so it nourishes the skin³.

Vitamin E works in tandem with B3 across the entire two Elucent Skincare ranges, helping to reduce inflammation, fine lines and blemishes, and hydrate the skin.
